Rules you Should Know
contributors that violate the following will have their submittions taken down
Rule 1: Submit Appropriately
No submition can contain any form of hate, unlawful/offensive content, or nudity. Each submition must be in a common picture format i.e. PNG,JPG,GIF(non animated),and WebP, With high quality. And MUST be your own.
Rule 2: Be Fair
Keep submitions per person to a minimum; at most 3, recomended 1 per category. Any more will removed.
Rule 3: Be Nice
Communitaction through the chat room must stay free of any form of hate or rudeness. If you are found violating this, any and all submissions by you will be removed.
Categories
Upclose
Photos of plants taken up close. These images will have the detail of the plant themselves as the main focus. keep in mind camera focus. If the background of your image is not unfocused and contains a landscape of plants it will be considered a landscape. Be as creative as you wish! As long as the main focal point of your image is one plant we will be more than happy to keep your category submission up close. If a plant photo is taken from up close but it is obvious it is indoors it will be considered an indoor submission. Do note if we change the category of your submissions it will not effect rule number 2. you will keep your all submissions.
Landscapes
Photos of plants taken from afar. These images will be composed of multiple plants that create a scenery. As with previous category keep in mind focus. If the landscape is out of focus and there's a main plant in focus it will be considered upclose. Always be creative! You can do whatever you want as long as the main focus of your piece is far away and obviously plant themed. Indoors
Photos of plants taken indoors. Images taken of the outside through a window will be cosidered a landscape if the window is less than 50% of the photo. Stay creative with this category too:D You have the ability to create your own lighting, compistion and so much more with the indoors. Take advantage of custom scenery! Now's your time to take your favorite potted plant and give them the photo shoot of the century. Do be carful though plants on porches or things of the like will be considered out doors and be submited as such.
